Where Sarah Gone? is a Caribbean young adult fiction novel about a 16-year old girl named Sarah who lives in Trinidad in 1962 in the fictional village Ceciliavile where young women are suddenly disappearing in the Wayward Forest.

Where Sarah Gone? was published in 2022 and discusses themes such as single-parenthood, teenage romance, race and self-esteem. It is set in 1962, almost one month after our nation’s Independence from the British, to give young readers a sense of what it meant to be a teenager at this momentous occasion in Trinidad and Tobago’s past.
